Mark Phibbs is Vice President of Marketing for Cisco in the Asia Pacific and Japan region, and has more than 25 years of international experience in the IT industry. Mark leads the Cisco Marketing team across 18 countries, as Cisco expands from its core as a Networking technology provider, to a multifaceted supplier of Security, Collaboration, Data Centre, Cloud & Internet of Things solutions.

His team are focused on inspiring people to prefer, choose and advocate for Cisco in the region, by focusing on real time personalized marketing and experiences.

Mark is originally from Sydney, Australia and has held a number of senior executive marketing and sales roles with brands such as IBM, Microsoft and Adobe, both in Asia Pacific and in Europe.

Mark is a passionate advocate of digital marketing and the increasingly important role the marketing function plays in the area of digital disruption and customer experience. At Adobe, Mark championed the move to SaaS and Cloud based solutions, and transformed marketing to support an ‘always on’ marketing environment.

Mark has a Bachelor of Business Degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and has successfully completed Business Management courses at the prestigious Kellogg School of Management, Wharton Business School and the Haas School of Business Berkeley in the United States and is a Fellow of the Marketing Academy.

Zarina Lam Stanford
Head of Marketing, SAP Asia Pacific & Japan

As Head of Marketing, Zarina Stanford is responsible for the development and
implementation of SAP’s marketing strategy across the Asia Pacific and
Japan region.

Zarina adopts a customer-centric and insight-driven approach in her go-to-market
for SAP in the region, overseeing audience, industry, and experiential
marketing across all customer segments in support of the entire SAP
business. She is a recognized change agent who spearheads business and
transformational initiatives through imagining the possible. A seasoned industry veteran, Zarina has held various sales and marketing executive positions in North America and Asia. Prior to joining SAP, she was VP of Marketing at IBM where she oversaw segment marketing for Growth Markets and Asia Pacific.

A champion for diversity and inclusion initiatives, Zarina is currently Bilateral
Committee Chairperson for Asia Pacific-India Cooperation at the global
women’s chamber ALL Ladies League (www.aall.in). She joined the list of
Diversity Journal’s Women Worth Watching Award recipients in 2016. Zarina
also serves on the Board of Advisors of BDFoundation, a global non-profit
organization to advance inclusion and development for girls and women.
Zarina is a graduate of the Asian Advanced Leadership Program from the
Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. She holds an MBA from
Southern Methodist University and a BA in Journalism from the University of
North Texas.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Zarina and her family currently reside in
Singapore.

Charles Manuel
CMO, NetApp, Asia Pacific & Japan

Charles Manuel is CMO Asia Pacific & Japan for NetApp. In his role, Charles is part of the leadership team responsible for NetApp’s transformation towards becoming the data authority for hybrid cloud. His responsibilities include Field Marketing, Brand & Demand, Digital & Social and Channels Marketing. Demand Center operations are an additional responsibility he carries.

Since joining NetApp in February 2017, Charles has been leading NetApp’s team of Marketing Professionals throughout the region to define, execute and measure the Marketing strategy in alignment with APAC Field Sales, Pathways and Alliances. Identifying innovative Routes to Market in the unique countries across the Asia Pacific region with all its diversity is an important priority that he is focused on.

Prior to joining NetApp, Charles spent over twenty years at IBM, throughout which he held several leadership positions in multiple countries, supporting various business groups and initiatives. During his tenure, he was part of the leadership team that built IBM’s Analytics business through multiple acquisitions. In his most recent position as Head of Marketing, he was instrumental in driving IBM APAC’s cloud business transformation and in leading Channels & Ecosystem sales for growth markets.

Charles is actively involved in the nonprofit sector over that last two decades. As Chairman of the board for Tent Schools International, a global Non-Profit Enterprise he is focused on poverty alleviation through education in the most disturbed post conflict regions around the world.

Charles holds an MBA degree in Marketing and Strategy with additional accreditations from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, London Business School and Boston University.
