The eternal questions for regional marketing teams is: how do I allocate my limited resources in order to achieve my objectives? Teams must calibrate their resource mix of tactics with corporate restraints and team member resources to decide if they should be managing it internally in region, outsourcing to a local services provider or leveraging corporate agencies to manage activities. Companies must analyze projects and programs at the tactic-level within the context of a larger budget and program to build a priority list of using internal and external resources and then use a decision support framework to evaluate (instead of understand?) the various tradeoffs.
